  lets review this year.

  un debacle, silent lambs roared, panorama, cnn, dateline, march on brooklyn - all unheard of 12 months ago.. where has it got us, wtbs is still there - un moved and unphased.. have we done any damage - or did we get it wrong?.

  i'm no lover of the society - but will anything move these guys?.

  Where has it got us, WTBS is still there - un moved and unphased.

  Children in need

  while the jehovah's witnesses avoid giving to charity - after all why bother?, they are going to die at armageddon soon anyway, the rest of the world do their best to help those in dire need.. every year the bbc 'children in need' appeal raises millions to help disadvantaged children everywhere.. uk posters will know what i'm talkng about.. send some money to pudsey!.

  You guys really have it all wrong you know

  No JW would ever give money to such a Satanistic, commercial TV station that dared to put out a slanted, biased, anti JW program such as Panorama.

  Surely the 13m wwould be better in the hands of Mill Hill Bethel, think of all the WT's and property they could make and buy!! Its a disgrace that all this money goes to children of the world - better they have WT's and Awakes rather than money, food and enjoyment. Sprituality is far more important

  And what about the dreadful, Satanistic performance of the "Sweet Transvestite" song - tut,tut

  Elders w/kids that are removed

  reading metatron's post about the inner circle made me think about some of the congregations that i have been in and the elder body.

  i think the inner circle mentality applies also to elders with children.

  i remember being in a hall where elder a's child got into some wrongdoing.

  We have an elder in our cong, his "nick name" is Eli because his 2 sons run riot and nobody has the guts to stop them.

  When I was an elder I tackled him about his 2 sons (one was eventually removed as a MS, but the stink he kicked up was "to be seen") the political problems he caused me and the PO was terrifying. It was only when an elderly sister called him Eli to his face did he back down - but then he wanted to set up a judicial commitee on this 83 year old sister for "defaming an elder" and "not having respect for Jehovahs appointed men".

  I told him no - because she was right, end of story. But it does show how things can get out of hand

  Excuse me, but I did post this note in late 2001:-

  The move to central UK (either Milton Keynes or Derby) has been scrapped - it has not yet been formally announced but is common knowledge in Bethel

  However, the society has seen the price of its land in Bethel move up DRAMATICALLY since they posponed the idea of a move. The interesting thing is that the sites at MK (next to Furzton) and Derby (by the Toyota Factory) are still free - and the temptation grants are still in place

  Elder's School Review This Weekend

  2 full days will be given to the elders for a review of the school that the elders already attended last year.

  any idea of what else they could possibly say??

  Its "Troll Time" again

  They are not lowering themselves to mention Silent Lambs or the UN activities.

  The main thrusts are:-

  The new ministry school

  1 How to use the new book

  2. The benefits of the new program

  3. How to manage the first few difficult weeks of the new school (get you best speakers on first)

  Keeping the congregation clean

  a) Disciplinary action -immorality, uncleaness, spotting the "waverers", spotting those who manipulate Jehovahs loving kindness

  Helping the flock

  a) Elderly, Infirm, Those weak in the truth - help them get to meetings, on the work (only 15 mins now)

  Literature

  a) use of, placement of, return visits on

  Appointed men families

  a) Signs of weakness, encourage all in family, Family is a top priority, don't let congregation responsibilites cloud your family judgment

  Judicial matters

  a) Follow what the society says, look what happens when you don't do as instructed (bad publicity etc)

  b) Make sure that all things are reported to Bethel, "mistakes" have happened because the society is not fully informed this has let to some of the "flock" being damaged and going apostate. Everything must be reported otherwise the society cannot make the right decision - and that responsibility is with the local elders

  c) Clarification on Child Abuse

  Organisation is under attack

  a) Why are we surprised? It was fortold, expected

  b) from Authorities (France/Georgia), from Apostates "whipping up emotions", from Satans instruments (The internet, Apostates, email (see September 2002 KM)

  c) "The love of the greater number will cool off", time to really strenthen our faith in Jehovah

  There is also another section that is closely guarded

  I find this type of hysteria objectionable

  Bill is a "get up and do it" man, he has done more damage to the society than all the people here put together - full stop

  Ray is an intellectual who writes with conviction and a true advocate of "the pen is stronger than the sword"

  Bill couldn't write a book like Ray - and Ray wouldn't step up a march across Brooklyn and talk on the TV

  These are two towers of our movement - both with different strengths - and both damaging the society if different ways

  When the society see us bickering like this they have won - we have strong leaders, lets utilise them and not destroy them. Why do the society's work for them?

  WIRETAPPING

  i have had some of strange and weird things happen (strange phone calls, and lots of other weird things, and certain "code words" used towards me), and i believe that there are certain freemasons (or other group), which has tried to use these subtle (and not-so-subtle) threats on me and my family.

  (it may be connected to some of my relatives in another state, who may have abuse going on in their family, and we have had a lot of strange dealings with these relatives).. it seems to me, that i have also been wiretapped ("bugged").. certain things that i say in my house, have been repeated to me by other people outside the house.. it is very strange to experience this.. it seems that every single time i would go to the kingdom hall for a meeting, the speaker would repeat something i had said in the house earlier that day or the night before, it was freaky!.

  i have seen a few other people post up on this website about being wiretapped by jw elders.. has anyone else experienced any of these things?

  Its Troll time again!!

  To wiretap you must have

  1. Equipment at or near the house to record or broadcast 2. Access to the local Telephone exchange

  To do 1. would be possible, but why?how would it look if caught? VERY risky and a 

  "bridge too far" by almost any elder that I know or have met

   To do 2 takes a court order and/or secret service of your local country. To monitor voice calls properly takes a algorithmic computer or dedicated scanner 

  ;the best are made by COMVERSE the Tel Aviv company who sell all over the world 

  (CMV is the NASDQ code). To do so means to use the public exchange. 

  The algorithmic computer needs to decode/intercept at varying levels depending on the location 

  within the network the scanner/reader is . The type of protocol interpretation

  that may be needed is Q.931 singalling (+SS7 if needed depending on location of 

  switch/exchange/PCCP),compression techniques (again depending on the area of 

  the network intercept - typically VoIP, ADPCM or maybe even some kind of CELP

  Given that it is 1 (the most logical), then if you are really worried then go to 

  your local electronic shop and ask for a bug detector

   emails are another matter, to monitor emails and other data traffic is relatively easy 

  for a large corporation - especially when there is a capture system of the companies

  /individual's IP address. The society are using a part of the CARNIVORE system which 

  can target on monitor the remote individuals traffic - even if using a Hotmail or Yahoo

   address - without any problems. Hence the reason for my previous post 

  (to much scorn and derision) 

  In fairness I think the chances of being bugged by the local congregation are non existant, 

  but watch your emails and what you say on them.
